Hi and welcome to TrekPhoto.co.uk on Lewesonline.com.

TrekPhoto.co.uk is still being mapped out at present but I hope my photos will inspire you to visit my site when finalised.

All of my pictures are taken from 'treks' around the local countryside and further afield. The aim of TrekPhoto is to show what you can see and experience by simply going for a walk. Whether it be to a country home or along a sandy beach, there is always something interesting going on!

My thanks to the sand kiters for allowing me to photograph them. Why not have a go?

TrekPhoto(graphy)

All my photos are taken on 'trek' and my general photography ethos is if I like it, I shoot it regardless if it's not the perfect composition, but if people are involved I seek their permission.

As I am a hiker first, I carry a very small tripod which falls over a lot and makes an interesting target for leg cocking dogs or inquisitive toddlers, but it helps keep the weight down.

I also balk at image manipulation because quite frankly it's not my thing but I'm not opposed to a bit of cropping or sepia. I like things simple.

Treks

Regarding my walks, I shall be transferring these to PDF with simple maps and route instructions so everyone can enjoy the outdoors, from short hops to all-day circular walks. These will be available on TrekPhoto.co.uk in the near future.
